Zoom Technology Arizona is a closed-access fiber network provider. We deploy Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network infrastructure nationwide in specific neighborhoods and Fiber-to-the-Business (FTTB). PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE

The IT Infrastructure Specialist develops technical requirements and specifications allocates systems resources and manages accounts, documentation, and access to systems and equipment. The specialist also monitors performance and capacity, implements security procedures, and maintains system configuration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides planning, design, and implementation of computer hardware, software, and network components.
• Test programs and systems and integrate system modules.
• Converts and implements new systems or upgrades existing systems.
• Provide IT support to end-users (office and remote) and field engineers
• Perform system administration tasks and manage local backup solutions
• Implement redundant setups for IT solutions and perform patch management
• Daily monitoring of systems and integrations
• Analyze and solve reported errors and document monitoring procedures
• Manage contacts with suppliers of local IT systems and communicate with end-users

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Four (4) years of experience in designing, supporting, operating, implementing, and maintaining hybrid infrastructures
• Demonstrated experience in carrying out IT infrastructure projects and initiatives
• Is proactive in identifying IT Infrastructure needs and practices required in the business and can communicate their value clearly
• Experience with Infrastructure automation following DevOps best practices
• Can work in an Agile environment, be part of a team, and manage your own time
• Cloud technologies and public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and Office 365Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to keep up with the latest tech innovations
