We are searching for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our client’s growing team.

Overview :

The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will oversee mechanical maintenance in the Rolling Mill Department of our steel manufacturing plant.

This role requires a proactive leader with at least 3 years of leadership experience and a strong background in mechanical maintenance.

A 2-year technical degree in a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Supervision :

• Manage a team of mechanical maintenance technicians.
• Plan and supervise daily maintenance activities.
• Provide training and performance evaluations.

Mechanical Maintenance :

• Oversee maintenance and repair of rolling mill systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.

Technical Expertise :

• Diagnose and solve mechanical issues.
• Read technical drawings and schematics.
• Use CMMS for tracking work orders and maintenance history.

Operational Efficiency :

• Coordinate with production to minimize disruptions.
• Monitor and report maintenance KPIs.
• Manage spare parts inventory.

Continuous Improvement :

• Identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
• Stay updated on industry trends.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

2-year technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.

Experience :

• 3 years of leadership experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong background in maintaining rolling mill equipment.

Skills and Abilities :

• Excellent leadership and team management.
• Proficient in CMMS software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in an industrial setting.
