Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of a recreation facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Duties:
- Perform general custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms and event spaces as needed
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department

Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, porter, or custodial roles preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and respond to requests
