Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Behavioral Health! Job SummaryAs a Licensed Practical Nurse on our team, you will work closely with the Program and Nursing Director to provide critical health assessments, medications administration, crisis intervention, and short-term intervention services to adults and older adults facing acute behavioral health crises. Your role will involve conducting psychosocial assessments, developing service plans, and collaborating with the RN supervisor and prescriber to monitor treatments, all while ensuring individual confidentiality, safety, and self-determination. Key Responsibilities
Regularly assess therapeutic responses to prescribed medications.
Collaborate on triaging medical complaints.
Educate participants on medications.
Maintain accurate documentation per agency policies.
Contribute to program development through active participation in meetings, committees, and projects.
Prioritize continuous professional development and licensure/certification maintenance.
Requirements
Associates degree in nursing.
Current WA state LPN license.
Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Minimum one year of experience in psychiatric settings.
Strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental illness.
Understanding of recovery, resilience, and individual choice.
Interest in working with challenging populations.
Ability to work effectively with individuals displaying various behaviors.
Solid grasp of adult psychopathology, pharmacology, crisis intervention, and ethical considerations.
Excellent communication skills and attendance record.
Strong team player.

Flexible full-time and part-time day and night shifts.
Night Differential $3.00/HR.
