Join Our Team in the Crisis Stabilization and Triage Center Our client is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Crisis Stabilization and Triage Center. As a Crisis RN, you will work independently under the guidance of the RN Supervisor and Program Director, providing crucial health assessments for participants and coordinating primary care services in the community. Responsibilities
Participate in psychosocial assessments, collaborating with participants and the multidisciplinary team.
Develop and implement service plans in line with participants' needs.
Administer and evaluate psychotropic medications, monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
Educate participants on medication management and provide crisis intervention services.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in program development initiatives.
Ensure professional development and compliance with licensure requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate degree in nursing.
Minimum of one year of experience in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settings.
Strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental illness in community settings.
Familiarity with recovery-oriented care and the Living Room Model.
Ability to work with challenging behaviors and diverse individuals.
Knowledge of psychopathology, pharmacology, crisis intervention, and ethical practices.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
Schedule
Crisis Unit (2 openings):
Night shift FT: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Night shift PT: Sunday
Involuntary Treatment Act (ITA) unit:
Night shift FT: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Night shift PT: Sunday
Mid shift FT: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Mid shift PT: Wednesday
Salary
Pay Range: $30 - $36 per hour
