OverviewOur top client is seeking a Manager Behavioral Health to join their team. The Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. The eligible candidate MUST have experience as an RN in an inpatient behavioral health unit in an acute care system.

OverviewOur top client is seeking a Manager Behavioral Health to join their team. The Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit. The eligible candidate MUST have experience as an RN in an inpatient behavioral health unit in an acute care system.
Key ResponsibilitiesEffective Staff Utilization:
- Ensure flexible utilization of staff within staffing guidelines
- Evaluate staff performance and behavior
- Model leadership behavior and set expectations for teamwork
- Demonstrate effective planning for future needs through budget preparation
- Participate in the organization's educational programs
- Support community outreach programs while maintaining advanced practice study
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of practice or hold Compact/Multi-State RN License
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association required
- 5 years of managerial experience
- Specialized care including cognitive therapy and individualized psychotherapy
- Treatment in a safe, therapeutic environment with 24/7 access to psychiatric and medical professionals
- Specialization in anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, and psychosis
- Position Directly Supervises: Nurses and PCTs in the unit
- Reports Directly to the Program Director
- Reason for vacancy: Previous personnel promoted to Director in the hospital
- Salary Range: Up to $98,000 per year
- Signing Bonus: Up to $10,000
- Relocation Package: Up to $10,000
