Job SummaryLeading the charge in delivering top-notch nursing care, the Registered Nurse (RN) in this role ensures the comfort and well-being of patients. By following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, they oversee care provision, delegation, supervision, and education for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Spearheading the delivery of professional nursing care
- Applying the nursing process effectively
- Executing medically prescribed interventions
- Providing, delegating, supervising, and documenting care and patient education
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within six months of hire and attain a BSN within four years
- Maintain a current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Preferably possess an eNLC license and BLS Healthcare Provider certificate
- Have at least one year of hospital nursing experience
- Master's degree in Nursing
- National Certification in a specialty area
- Over two years of experience in a large ICU setting within a trauma center
- Hourly wage ranging from $24 to $43.65
- Various differentials in pay for shifts and weekends
- Eligibility for a $5/hr float pool premium post orientation
- Up to $15K sign-on bonus/relocation assistance for night shift candidates with a 2-year commitment
- Fast-paced environment with high acuity and volume
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2
- Exposure to CRTs, Vents, Proning, Temp Control, etc.
- Nurse-driven, autonomous work environment with self-scheduling options
- Emergency Department experience is a plus
- Not accepting new graduate applications
