Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse (RN) in this role, you will be entrusted with providing leadership to ensure the delivery of professional nursing care, promoting the comfort and well-being of patients. Employing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, you will oversee and document the care and education provided to patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of professional nursing care to patients.
- Employ the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Execute medically prescribed interventions.
- Manage, assign, supervise, and record care and educational activities for patients and their families.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within six months of hire, completing a BSN within four years.
- Possess and maintain current RN licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Consider eNLC license eligibility, confirming with NCBON Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Have at least one year of experience in hospital nursing.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- National Certification in a specialty area.
- Two or more years in a large ICU setting within a trauma center.
- Hourly wage ranges from $24 to $43.65.
- Differentials for shifts: 2nd Shift-$4/hr., 3rd Shift-$6/hr., Weekend-$3.50/hr.
- Eligible for a $5/hr float pool premium post-orientation (8-12 weeks).
- Sign-on/Relocation Assistance: Up to $15K (NIGHT SHIFT ONLY) sign-on bonus/relocation assistance for candidates committing to two years.
- Expect fast-paced units with high acuity and volume.
- Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1 or possibly 1:2.
- Experience with CRTs, Vents, Proning, Temp Control.
- Autonomous nurse-driven environment with modified self-scheduling.
- Prior ED experience desirable.
- NO NEW GRADS.
