Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join their healthcare team, with a particular focus on providing outstanding patient care in critical settings. This position as a float pool nurse involves working in various critical care units, which include Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, and Step-Down Units, among others. This role provides flexible scheduling, collaborative clinical decision-making, and exposure to diverse challenges in specialized patient care.
Responsibilities

• Assist in caring for patients in critical care units, such as post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU
• Contribute significantly to maternal emergency responses
• Operate independently in high-pressure scenarios
• Deliver exceptional patient care with empathy, skill, and a strong dedication to quality care

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• At least two years of experience as a Critical Care RN
• Current New York State RN licensure
• BCLS and ACLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in high-pressure situations
• Experience in caring for post-Cesarean Section patients and obstetrical emergencies (preferred)
