Opportunity for a Family Therapist in Vancouver, WA, Outpatient Program Our top client in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a dedicated Family Therapist to join an Outpatient Program. This role involves working with individuals with mental health disorders and their families, providing essential therapeutic services. Key ResponsibilitiesFamily Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of families to understand their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Therapy Services: Provide in-home and in-office family therapy sessions for high-risk clients and their families, both individually and jointly. Family Education Group: Conduct educational sessions for families to enhance their understanding of mental health disorders and treatment options. Collaboration: Attend weekly case staff meetings and court sessions to provide valuable input and contribute to the overall care plan. RequirementsQualifications: Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, along with a current State of Washington credential. Driver's License: Possess a valid, unencumbered Washington or Oregon driver's license for transportation needs. Clearances: Successfully pass a criminal history background check and be capable of obtaining jail clearance for client support. Diversity Competence: Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in terms of social strata, age, education, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. Experience: Prior experience in working with mental health disorders, dual-diagnosis, and family systems.
