Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' capabilities and limitations
• Develop customized treatment strategies for individuals dealing with various injuries or musculoskeletal conditions
• Deliver personalized care, dedicating up to 40 minutes to each patient
• Aid patients in improving functionality, managing pain, and preventing disabilities
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery journey
• Manage a caseload comprising adult and adolescent hand therapy patients

Requirements

• Valid NYS Occupational Therapist License
• Demonstrated commitment to patient well-being and a strong work ethic
• Proficiency in basic computer operations
• CPR and first aid certifications
• Preferably a Certified Hand Therapist or equivalent experience in hand therapy, alongside relevant continuing education and 1-2 years of outpatient hand therapy practice as a licensed OT
