SummaryAre you an experienced Tower Technician looking for a challenging role? As a Tower Technician III, you will be responsible for performing installations and maintenance on communication structures, troubleshooting alarms and RSSI issues, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Responsibilities
- Install radios, antennas, and RF equipment
- Troubleshoot alarms and RSSI issues
- Perform electrical and mechanical tilts on antennas
- Maintain jumper connections and run jumpers
- Complete equipment paperwork
- Conduct safety audits on communication structures
- Follow daily instructions and reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience
- State-issued driver's license
- Certified Tower Climber (via Gravitec Systems, Inc. or ComTrain)
- Climb and descend various structures
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel as required
- Mount, align, and test antennas and radios
- Conduct full grounding installations and tower maintenance
- Proficient in climbing and rigging techniques
- Competent in handling fiber testing and PIM gear
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
