As a Senior Accountant at Zupka & Associates, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing audits and review procedures for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with our Partners and Managers, enhancing client relationships and contributing to the development of new business opportunities. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities that require independence, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Compensation:

• Salary Range: $70,000 based on experience

Responsibilities
•Plan and perform audits and review procedures for governmental and non-profit clients, including the compilation of financial statements.
•Interact directly with Partners and Managers on matters related to client and engagement management.
•Communicate effectively with clients' internal accounting and auditing departments to ensure exceptional service delivery.
•Assist in strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
•Train, coach, and develop staff accountants, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in accounting.
•At least 3 years of experience in external audit within public accounting or a combination of governmental public accounting and review/compilation of GAAP financial statements.
•Proficiency in governmental accounting and auditing standards.
•Ability to work independently, adhere to deadlines, and manage time effectively with attention to detail and accuracy.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
•Willingness to travel using a personal vehicle for work at client's offices, meetings, or seminars, including frequent daily travel and occasional overnight stays.
