A leading organisation within the pharmaceutical sector is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in wash and sterilisation processes, specifically focusing on utensil/part washers and autoclaves.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical requirements and tender specifications for process equipment.
Lead the technical aspects of vendor engagement, including contract management and supplier selection.
Supervise vendors throughout project delivery, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Take part in risk assessments, design reviews, and the commissioning process (FAT, SAT).
Oversee qualification and testing activities for equipment.
Serve as the technical point of contact between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and operations.
Lead technical workstreams and provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Experience & Skills:
Demonstrable experience in wash and sterilisation processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
Proven experience specifying, selecting, and qualifying utensil/part washers and autoclaves.
Ability to operate as a technical lead across multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
