The team and the role
As our new Student Assistant, Legal (internally called Analyst), you will contribute to providing advice and assistance relating to legal structuring on current and future funds and investments and assist CIP and CISC with various kinds of ad hoc legal queries.
You will work closely together with our highly experienced legal team in an international and dynamic environment. You will get the opportunity to build a strong commercial and contractual understanding of corporate and fund structures as well as renewable energy and infrastructure.
We will constantly seek to challenge and inspire you, while focusing on your learning and personal development. You will have an opportunity to participate in our CIP Academy which consists of a variety of Learning & Training courses developing your skills to excel at your day-to-day tasks. In addition to this, we also arrange Personal & Career Development program preparing you to take on the role as a full-time Associate.
The position a is part-time Student Assistant and require you to be enrolled in a university. Your workload will vary, and flexibility is therefore expected from both sides. You’ll be reporting directly to our Legal Counsel.
Responsibilities will further consist of:
- Assist the legal team with various ad hoc legal matters and legal structuring of investments globally
- Assist with maintaining updated corporate documentation
- Manage corporate compliance processes under supervision from the legal team
- Provide insights on local legal regulations in relevant countries
- Assist with KYC material, signature requirements, notary etc.
You
We are looking for you, who are currently studying and are on your 3rd year of your bachelor's degree / in your 1st year of your master’s degree studying Business Administration and Commercial Law. While studying you have gained 1-2 years of relevant experience / knowledge within company law, private equity, commercial law, corporate finance or energy law.
Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated person who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.
We look for the following in a candidate:
- Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Comprehensive analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, as well as great communication skills
- Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment
