Associate, Treasury and Transfer Agency

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for an Associate to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role
As Associate in Treasury and Transfer Agency you will become member of a team of seven (including two student analysts). The team is working within Business Finance which is part of the CFO area.

You will report to the VP of Treasury and together with our Senior Treasury Specialist be responsible for the cash management of CIP managed funds. This entails playing an important role in the cash management activities within the funds and subsidiaries, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet cash needs within complex fund and ownership structures. With this responsibility, you will have a central role within CISC and the extended CIP organization.

Your responsibilities will further consist of:

• To represent the Treasury team as primary system responsible of our treasury management system (TMS), initially by playing a central role in the implementation of the TMS.
• To manage the overall liquidity of the funds and ensure that payments to and from the funds and related entities will be carried out as planned.
• Day-to-day management of credit facilities of the funds operated by CISC, including issuance of utilization requests and reporting on covenants.
• Trade currencies required to fund investments carried out in countries / currencies all over the world.
• Participate in meetings with internal and external customers and stakeholders, such as banks, CIP Platforms and project organizations in relation to key Treasury deliveries mentioned above.
• Maintain and develop KPI reporting on the performance of key Treasury deliveries, such as, cash balances (and idle cash), currency conversion cost, credit facility utilization, letters of credit (LCs), etc.
• From time-to-time support activities related to the Transfer Agency, e.g. capital calls and distributions to/from investors, and communication with investors on subjects related hereto.
• Support and initiate optimization of our processes and how we work.

You
We are looking for you who have completed your master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Business Administration or similar, and comes with 2-4 years of full-time experience from a treasury function or a similar role.

Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who is thriving in a dynamic and changeable environment.

We look for the following in a candidate

• Experience working with a TMS (treasury management system), preferably Kyriba. We also use Bloomberg, and experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Experience working in multiple work streams simultaneously, with a focus on detail and sensitive to time management.
• Well-versed in various IT applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
