Treasury Operations Team Lead

Are you experienced within working experience in treasury operations, controlling, and cash management? We are looking for a a creative and detail-oriented finance leader to become a part of our operational finance organization based in Warsaw, Poland.

The purpose of this role is to lead and oversee the treasury operations function, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals. The Team Lead in Treasury Operations is responsible for managing a small team, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of treasury matching, foreign exchange trading.

Location: Warsaw (hybrid work)

As our team member, you will have a great influence on shaping your own working day and be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide strategic oversight of daily bank reconciliations, payments, and cash flow management across the group.
• Supervise and optimize payment processes and A/R reconciliations (including self-billing).
• In collaboration with the Working Capital Manager, lead and support effective dunning and cash collection processes across all companies, ensuring continuous improvement and team guidance.
• Oversee the review and analysis of treasury reports and processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, while leading and supporting audits in coordination with internal and external auditors.
• Supervise the execution of currency trades to manage and optimize the organization’s foreign exchange positions, providing guidance on FX management.
• Responsible for streamlining how we work with banks, currently in 12 countries (this includes having a big influence on how we set up the systems we use).
• Mentor and develop the skills of team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the treasury function.

We expect:

• Min 3 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or expense management from a global organization.
• Have professional communication skills in Polish and English.
• Identify and resolve complex financial discrepancies, providing solutions and leveraging extensive expertise in treasury operations.
• Lead the team in the efficient execution of treasury operations, fostering a culture of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration within the team and effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, effective, and strategic communication.
