We are looking for a Consumer Marketing Manager

The Role

The Consumer Marketing Manager is crucial for the Estée Lauder Companies, as you will be building and driving the Nordic marketing strategy for our Fragrance Brands; TOM FORD, Jo Malone London, KILIAN PARIS & Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle.

Please note this role is a parental leave cover for 8-10 months.

As Consumer Marketing Manager, you will be the key player ensuring all stakeholders are on board with the strategy and are executing accordingly. The Marketing team consists of Product Marketing, Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising and you will be reporting directly to the Nordic Brand Director for the Fragrance Grouping. You will also work closely with our Paid, Owned and Earned teams as well as brand.com.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and adapt the global marketing strategy to maximize local relevance
  • Build, own and drive the 360° marketing plan for the brands, in coordination with Product Marketing, Trade Marketing and Online teams
  • Define the target consumer profiles, the consumer journey and the key messages for consumer communication (e.g. benefit messaging)
  • Lead and orchestrate Paid, Owned and Earned activities, giving clear guidelines and objectives and ensuring smooth flow of information
  • Translate local consumer insights into marketing and selling opportunities
  • In charge of Advertising & Promotion budget and optimization incl. ROI Analyses
  • Define the launch and promotional calendar across all channels
  • Work closely with the Retail and Visual Merchandising teams on innovation and continuous improvement of in-store consumer experience
  • Act as key contact for regional Consumer Marketing Teams and conducts reporting

Your Qualifications

For you to be a success in this job, we expect you to have a relevant educational background on Master level and 3 years of experience from a comparable job in an international marketing department.


  • Great communication skills and enjoy building strong relations to various stakeholders – external as well as internal
  • Effective, structured and hands-on approach, with close attention to details
  • Proficiency in English & one of the Nordic languages (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) is mandatory
  • Strong digital marketing skills and business acumen
  • You are data-oriented and translate data into marketing initiatives – and not least, you have in-depth experience leading marketing activities in bigger organizations
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital innovation
  • Solid number crunching skills and extensive Excel skills
