We are seeking an experienced and structured Finnish and Swedish Translator/Copywriter for our Content & Asset team.

The Role

As our Translator, you will be responsible for translating various marketing and online materials from English to Finnish and Swedish. You'll ensure all translations align with brand guidelines and are culturally appropriate, accurate, and convey the intended meaning. We're looking for a candidate with excellent written communication skills in Finnish and Swedish who can work with strong attention to detail even under pressure.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Translate and adapt global marketing materials (including website copy, newsletters, social media content, paid media assets, etc.) into Finnish and Swedish to appeal to local audiences
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's guidelines
• Write clear, concise, and compelling marketing copy for locally created marketing and online assets that align with the brand's tone of voice and appeal to the target audience
• Conduct light SEO optimization on website copy to improve search engine rankings
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all deadlines are met
• Work collaboratively with other departments and team members to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and incorporate them into the copy to ensure it remains fresh and relevant

Qualifications

For you to be a success in this job, we expect you to be a highly skilled translator with minimum 3 years of experience from a comparable job – preferably within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industry.

• Native speaker of Finnish and Swedish (excellent grammar is essential)
• 3 years of experience in professional translation from English to Finnish and Swedish from a lifestyle/beauty/fashion company or an agency
• Good copywriting skills, with the ability to write engaging and on-brand content
• Experience working with translation software systems
• Light SEO proofreading is a plus
• Strong cultural understanding and ability to adapt language to various audiences

You are a skilled structured and self-driven translator and/or copywriter who can deliver high-quality, engaging content to our diverse audience. You are confident juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a superb eye for detail. You can work both independently and in teams.
