As Senior Manager, you will run day-to-day operations and develop long-term strategy — while helping shape how GEA delivers world-class service to customers in over 60 countries.
Responsibilities / Tasks
You will be heading up a skilled and steady team of 9 internal sales specialists based in Søborg. This is a technically minded group that works behind the scenes to handle incoming requests from GEA’s global customer base. Think engineering meets detective work: interpreting diagrams, checking with suppliers, and shaping offers that range from 500 to 100,000 euros.
The team is not looking for reinvention – they know what they’re doing. They’re thorough and take pride in delivering precise, timely quotes that keep complex processing plants running smoothly. That also means your leadership style matters: you’ll need to give direction without micromanaging, support without disrupting, and earn trust by knowing your stuff.

You will also be part of a wider leadership group working on strategic initiatives across the service business.
As our new Senior Manager, you will take full ownership of a newly defined leadership role with direct responsibility for offer handling in GEA’s Drying Technologies Service business – and for a team that delivers a couple of thousand spare part offers a year and ensures that our new installations are supported with a complete service offer for both spare parts and service agreements.
Your focus will be on leading the day-to-day operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring that technical quotes are delivered with speed, quality, and business acumen.
You get a broad and business-critical role, where you:
Lead, empower, and support a technically skilled team in Søborg and collaborate closely with a support hub in India
Secure a smooth and lean offer handling process, from incoming request to final customer quote
Work closely with supply chain, engineering, and sales to align offers with pricing strategy and technical feasibility
Own and improve KPIs such as response time, hit rate, and gross margin
Drive the development of new service initiatives and support the implementation of business models
Balance operational stability with long-term improvements, ensuring quality delivery while evolving the function.
Your Profile / Qualifications
You are a grounded leader who listens first, sets direction clearly, and builds trust through both presence and professionalism. Furthermore, you thrive in a technical environment where collaboration, curiosity, and commercial thinking go hand in hand.
We furthermore imagine that you:
Have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience – perhaps from a service function, internal sales, or a back-office environment
Understand technical drawings and can navigate complex products or processes — you do not need to be an engineer, but you speak the language
Bring a strong business mindset and know how to balance operational flow with long-term improvements
Are familiar with lean principles and enjoy working with KPIs and process optimisation
Speak and write both Danish and English fluently.
