Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll have the chance to shape and scale our defence business globally. You’ll take the lead in building strategic partnerships, defining long-term direction, and ensuring our cutting-edge space technologies meet the evolving needs of defence and government customers.

You will act as the global focal point for defence opportunities, driving our commercial agenda and ensuring we’re positioned for success in key markets. This role is about more than selling — it’s about trust, timing, and alignment with missions that matter.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading Defence-related business development across global markets — from early-stage engagement through to contract win.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across ministries, government institutions, industry, and academia.
• Developing and executing clear go-to-market strategies with measurable outcomes and commercial impact.
• Driving capture strategies for RFPs, tenders, and grants, aligning internal teams around customer mission needs.
• Representing GomSpace at strategic forums and positioning the company as a key player in space-enabled defence capabilities.

We imagine you have:
• A proven track record in Defence, aerospace, or government business development, ideally involving space-based technologies or public procurement.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with experience working across cultures, hierarchies, and political settings.
• A strong value-driven mindset, focused on aligning customer objectives with strategic business outcomes.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g. Spanish, Arabic) are an asset in a global context.
• The agility to pivot when needed, reshaping deals and strategies as markets, needs, and missions evolve.
