Core Responsibilities
Overall, you will set and implement long and short-term strategies and plans for LEGO STAR WARS to deliver on brand and commercial objectives. This role has a focus on the Kids consumer group, and responsibilities include:
Develop and bring to life key parts of the Global Marketing strategy for LEGO Star Wars, with a special focus on communication, innovation, strategy, and deployment.
Be the primary driver in creating and carrying out best-in-class Owned, Earned, Shared & Paid (OESP) marketing campaigns; including continuous engagement and a robust, insights-based communication toolbox.
Drive alignment and orchestrate collaboration across a wide spectrum of internal and external collaborators.
Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership with IP Partner to unlock shared marketing opportunities.
Drive communication innovation: explore new channels and discover new ways of engaging Star Wars kids and families.
Do you have what it takes?
Substantial marketing experience from a strong consumer brand - preferably in a global or regional role, with a proven track record in communication development and high intuition for business.
Passion for fandom marketing and community engagement experience is an advantage.
Audience First approach and to think consumer-first and know how to apply both creative and data to drive the right global initiatives and make the appropriate franchise decisions.
Campaign Leadership Experience in developing and leading product campaigns, including agency management. Effective presentation and writing skills with the ability to convey a compelling and concise message, and to engage and inspire colleagues.
Experience in driving effective campaigns and communications beats connecting across a sophisticated OESP ecosystem with a particular focus on Owned, Earned, and Shared media.
Effective communication skills – a great relationship builder and negotiator with proven ability to through collaboration create followership with a diverse group of team members and partners across multiple business areas, geographies, and agency partners.
Results Oriented – Successful experience in decision making, analytics, time management, and marketing innovation skills. Ability to inspire change, try new things and evaluate business potential, turning findings into action.
Future thinking – represents a curious mentality, focused on innovation and experimentation with new opportunities and partners.
High level Proficiency Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power Point, Google Analytics, PowerBI.
