Core Responsibilities

Support product development teams with facilitation and coaching on risk-based quality assurance and play a key role in specifying quality requirements and test methods to validate these in new product development to secure a great Play Experience for the children. Further, you will:

  • Be engaged in relevant and prioritized product development projects where you will lead quality assurance and testing activities and methods in the LEGO Group’s product development process.
  • Call out product quality risks, facilitate quality risk mitigations, and follow through during the product development process.
  • Actively seek comprehensive understanding of issues, opportunities, and risk impact from a quality point of view.
  • Challenge status quo and take the lead on identifying and implementing improvement areas within functional area by new ways of working.
  • Take the lead on identifying areas where processes are not yet in place within own functional area and/or when collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, securing that processes are created and aligned.

Do you have what it takes

To thrive in this position, you enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a broad range of interfaces and stakeholders where you need to engage with and motivate others. You can provide informal leadership and at the same time be a quality specialist. More about you:

  • Minimum a handful of years of work experience in a similar quality assurance role in a product development set-up working with preventive quality management, driving quality and risk management in product development projects, preferably from a larger global company.
  • Preferably experience with Six Sigma.
  • Have a structured way of working, are organized, enjoy analytical challenges and secure structured implementation.
  • Are comfortable working in a changing environment where there is a need to be flexible and adjust the role in different projects and to the specific situation.
  • Have effective communication and good collaboration skills.
  • Are determined, take initiative, recognize and act on opportunities.
  • Can coach and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Have a positive mentality that fits the LEGO culture and leadership behaviors; collaborative skills, securing motivation and engagement while using your curiosity, bravery and focus to understand, engage, and progress in the projects.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
