E-learning Graphic Designer

Your key responsibilities
Together with our E-learning Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and interactive e-learning modules for our LMS. While the Design Specialist will handle instructional design and initial content creation, you will focus on converting these design documents into dynamic e-learning modules using authoring tools, whether integrated into the LMS or external.

After the design process, you will oversee and enhance the entire visual experience, including audio, video, images, animations, infographics, and interactive content. Optimization will be guided by requests from the Design Specialist and subject matter experts (SMEs), as well as your professional expertise and industry best practices.

We are in the energy sector, so many of our training modules will provide our employees with technical knowledge. Additionally, you will contribute to content creation for compliance training, sales training, new employee onboarding, and more. Regardless of the content, you will always have excellent support from our subject matter experts.

Specifically, you will

• Work closely with the Design Specialist and SMEs to brainstorm visual solutions, clarify expectations and scope, provide feedback on the design, and make necessary changes to the course.
• Assist the E-learning Design Specialist in converting Instructional Design Documents/Storyboards into e-learning material/self-paced content.
• Use various features in authoring tools to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
• Test and troubleshoot the course using a hosting platform.
• Be our visual quality assurance expert — from fonts to images, you’ll ensure that every component aligns with our brand image to create a cohesive look and feel.

Your profile
We are looking for an independent, self-disciplined, and highly motivated professional who will take full ownership of tasks and understand the purpose and vision of the position. You should be adept at understanding customer needs, proactively suggesting improvements, and incorporating feedback into your designs.

You should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while still meeting agreed-on deadlines.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience managing end-to-end projects in the development of e-learning courses using authoring tools like Articulate Rise, Storyline, etc., preferably in a corporate context where you’ve worked with a professional, streamlined, and modern design for adults.
• Experience in creating e-learning content across different segments, such as soft skills, learning & development (L&D), and product-based training.
• Knowledge of making e-learning courses more accessible.
• Proficiency with multiple authoring tools beyond Articulate, including microlearning platforms, video creation tools, and other interactive learning solutions.
• Experience working with and integrating multiple media formats — text, video, audio, etc.
• Experience in authoring, reviewing, and testing courses in an LMS host.
• Knowledge of SCORM compliance (Desirable).
• Proficiency with tools such as Storyline 360, Rise, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects), MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and audio editing software (Audition, Audacity).

You will become part of a large, global team, so it is important that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and can be flexible and comfortable working across different time zones, geographies, and cultures.

Work setup & culture
You will report directly to our E-learning Project Manager in India and maintain regular communication with the Head of Group People & Culture in Denmark. The team currently consists of a Graphic Designer and a Content Writer. This is a full-time remote position. You will work from home, and all communication will take place online via Teams.
