We are looking for a Consulting Director with a strong understanding of how emerging technologies drive digitalization in the life sciences industry. You will play a key supportive and cross-functional role, working across Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Safety to guide global life science clients in adopting the latest digital trends. While the business owners for these areas drive their respective domains, you will act as a trusted advisor and enabler, ensuring alignment and synergy across these functions.

This role requires hands-on involvement with client work, engaging directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will support business development, shape NNIT’s service offerings, and help position NNIT as a leading advisory partner in the EU life sciences market.

This position offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of domain expertise and client needs, translating industry trends into advisory, implementation, and managed service solutions.

Your Responsibilities as Consulting Director in R&D
In the Life Sciences R&D team, you will join an exciting international department with highly skilled colleagues across Regulatory, Clinical and Safety, that have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the ability to bridge this knowledge with digital solution which drive operational excellence at our customers.

Key Responsibility

• Provide cross-functional support across Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Safety, ensuring consistency and synergy in digital transformation efforts.

• Act as a trusted advisor to global life science clients, offering hands-on engagement in client projects, including advisory, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions.

• Shape and develop NNIT’s R&D service offerings, transforming market trends into strategic advisory services, technology implementations, and managed service solutions.

• Drive business development and sales activities, identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and working with sales teams to grow NNIT’s footprint in the market.

• Strategically position NNIT in the EU market, reinforcing our brand as a trusted advisory partner in the life sciences industry through thought leadership and industry engagement.

• Work closely with senior consultants, management, and cross-functional teams across Europe to ensure high-quality service delivery and foster knowledge sharing.

• Actively contribute to relevant conferences, public speaking engagements, and industry events to enhance NNIT’s visibility and influence in the life sciences sector.

• Maintain strong engagement with regulatory authorities (FDA, EMA, etc.) and standardization organizations (ISO, DS, etc.), ensuring NNIT stays at the forefront of regulatory and compliance trends.

Your qualifications and experiences

• MSc degree in Life Sciences, Business, or IT, with 8 years of experience in the life sciences industry, preferably in Regulatory Affairs or Clinical

• Proven ability to drive commercial growth and business development, including experience with presales activities, RfPs, and SOW writing.

• Strong understanding of technology applications in life sciences, with a keen interest in how digitalization enhances business processes.

• Experience in Regulatory business processes and digitalization strategies to improve operational efficiency.

• A dynamic and engaging personality with the ability to build trust and foster long-term client relationships.

Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
