We are currently looking for a customer oriented SAP Application Manager, who will have the overall responsibility of securing the quality, performance and budget for SAP applications for a large public customer. In close and proactive collaboration with the customer and with NNIT’s SAP specialists across Denmark, the Application Manager is a key role in keeping our customers happy. A huge personal drive, a structured way of working, a solid experience in working with ITIL processes and some knowledge and interest in SAP is key for the person we are looking for.
You will join our SAP Project Management and Application Management department
You will be part of a department with professional SAP colleagues who manages complex application systems and SAP projects and programs for our customers.
We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to manage the SAP applications over a longer period of time based on a deep understanding of the customers business needs and building relations with key persons at the customer and with the NNIT teams delivering the SAP application support.

Your responsibilities as a SAP Application Manager
As SAP Application Manager, you will be key in coordinate between the customer and NNIT's delivery organization for the SAP Application Management Services (AMS) covering Finance, Authorization and Development.
You will use your communicative and social skills to work both with the customer and with the AMS teams in the delivery organization.
You coordinate and facilitate planning with the teams, and have a key role in ensuring that moral and motivation is high in the delivery team. You work closely with colleagues from our headquarter in Copenhagen and from our office in Aarhus, Poland and Prague.
We work according to ITIL processes and you will contribute with continuous input for the ongoing optimization of our deliverables and processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Overall responsible for the coordination and quality of our SAP Application Management Services towards the customer
•Stakeholder management and status meetings with customers
•Day-to-day communication with the Application team surrounding the customer.
•Financial management of AMS agreements
•Overall coordination and estimation of Change Requests
•Coordination of releases
•Participate in further development of the Application Services
•Potential managing some projects with customers acting as Project Manager
You will be working with skilled and dedicated SAP colleagues who like you, are passionate about delivering quality to our customers.
Your qualifications and experience
You are either already a SAP application manager with 3-4 years of experience or you are a SAP project manager who understands ITIL and that a stable application is the foundation for expanding the business with the customer or you have an equivalent background:
•Minimum 3 years of successful experience in a similar role within SAP services
•ITIL process knowledge
•Experience from a customer-facing coordinating role
•Knowledge on SAP application areas and processes
•A structured approach combined with a high sense of urgency
•Have a customer-centric mindset
•Fluency in both Danish and English (daily work for this customer is in Danish)
Experience working with SAP as consultant or superuser and working with ITIL processes will be an advantage.
