WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
SimCorp is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Sales Manager to join its Northern Europe Sales team.

Sales Managers are responsible for SimCorp’s revenue growth and developing business with existing customers by encouraging strategic customer expansion. The Senior Principal Sales Manager will focus on transforming the way our clients manage their business and will engage in strategic dialogue with our client’s executives about how SimCorp leading Investment Management suite can support their strategy and goals.

In this role the Senior Principal Sales Manager will coordinate with the Customer Success Manager and together orchestrate the strategic collaboration between the Customer and SimCorp executives by strategically developing relationships with C-level customer stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Overall Responsibilities

  • Expansion: in collaboration with the Success Manager identifies, positions and drives opportunities for value add through SimCorp software and services adjacent to customer's current footprint.
  • Transformations: Advices customers in large scale commercial engagements on the flexibility and new capabilities available to transform the way they do business.
  • Executive engagement: Establish and maintain C-level long-term trusted relationships and engage these in discussing industry trends, problem solving and overall business opportunities
  • Knowledge sharing: Leverages industry and peer insight to expand the relevant scope and value creation potential for customers assessing short- and long-term needs
  • Management: Has a set of named accounts in Northern Europe and will align with the Customer Success Teams according to customer strategies to secure optimal value for the Customer and for SimCorp.
  • Commercial negotiations: Prime SimCorp facilitator on commercial negotiations securing that the customer is met with the best qualified team from SimCorp.

Leading with expertise

  • Advises on best practice solutions: Advises on the industry & peer usage of the possibilities in the SimCorp Dimension platform, and prompts our clients' status quo
  • Leveraging knowledge: Applies industry knowledge to build solutions that deliver tangible and compelling value to customers. Has credible depth of knowledge across a range of customer segments and geographies. Has credible depth of knowledge across how SimCorp software domains and service offerings are enabling customers globally to solve business problems.
  • Building thought leadership: Shapes business thinking and perceived as thought leader. Expertise sought by external parties to advise on effective investment management operations. Authors and represents SimCorp thought leadership pieces.

Building relationships

  • Convincing: Utilizes persuasive techniques in various intricate scenarios, guiding others to consider different options. Instils trust and confidence, and builds goodwill in customer organization
  • Communication and presentation: Positions SimCorp software and services based on customer situation, issues and desired outcomes. Sought with intent to deliver professional and engaging presentations to a wide range of audiences. Draws on a range of experiences and techniques to tailor communication style to meet the needs of complex situations and audiences.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Substantial background in Asset Management, FinTech solutions for Asset Managers, or related Financial Services sectors
  • Knowledge of Front-to-Back Office processes
  • Knowledge and experience with SimCorp Dimension product beneficial
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Shown passion for customers AND for revenue and growth
  • Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
  • Detail-oriented and systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Technologically curios and an understanding of SaaS & Enterprise cloud software
  • Effective verbal and visual communication skills
