Core Responsibilities
As our Sr. Quality Engineer – Mechatronics products on marked, you have a key role, being responsible for Mechatronic products on the marked, handling the follow-up on consumer complaints, analysis of mechatronics products returns, ensuring learning and corrective measures.
You will be part of a team, Quality Test Center-Mechatronics (QTC-M), consisting of Quality Engineers and Quality managers, all working with Mechatronics Quality. We follow the products from Early development to end of life, securing excellent quality.
Further, responsibilities
- Contribute to quality plans, quality risk management and optimization of verification and validation plans
- Perform tests in our laboratory on Mechatronics Components, Elements and Products.
- Define and develop test methods and set specifications
- Calibrate & align test methods with development engineers, suppliers and manufacturers
- Lead plans, traceability and change handling
- Perform Failure analysis through testing and problem solving

QTC-M is committed to verify and validate the required quality level for products released to the market within hardware, firmware, and software. QTC-M has many collaborators, internal as well as external, and we work closely together with our quality project managers by whom we interface the projects we deliver to. As our Sr. Quality Engineer you will be in a collaborative environment with ambitious assignments, where you will have the responsibility of the execution of your tasks
Do You Have What It Takes
- Experience with handling the technical quality issues on mechatronics consumer products on marked.
- Education within Electronics or Mechatronics on Bachelor level or as an Electronic Technician level
- Experience in product data management, including registration, analysis and transformation to actionable recommendations and guidelines
- Capable of performing failure analysis on mechatronics products and experience in verification, validation and testing procedures
- Experience in a similar quality assurance role with electronics and mechanical testing, preferably in a product development set-up
- Experience with V-model-tactical and operational
- Capable in documenting test plans and results and methodical with good communication skills, and you thrive in communicating with customers and collaborators
- Experienced with problem-problem-solving tools like Six Sigma
- Proficiency in English, written and verbal
- Self driven, takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
