We are looking for someone who’s had exposure to digital content, print Magazine content and a passion to drive great kids’ experiences on and offline. The candidate should have a proactive mindset, attention to detail and a creative and collaborative attitude.
Core Responsibilities
- Content management including but not limited to, content planning, digital content publishing and driving quality assurance of live and print content.
- Keeping a close eye on the community in the LEGO Play app and reporting on content performance and trends.
- Proofing of our LEGO magazine and handling of UGC submissions.
- Bringing enthusiasm and ideas to creative brainstorms.
- Staying up to date with landscape trends and insights from our competitors to inspire the team with new ideas for content, games and events – especially for the 5-12 year old audience.

The Content & Editorial team within Digital Consumer Engagement is responsible for strategizing and producing content for our owned channels that are built in-house. These platforms allow The LEGO Group to offer inspirational, personal and social experiences to kids and adults across all touch points. This includes the LEGO® Play app and LEGO® magazine, LEGO.com/kids, LEGO.com as well as several new innovative platforms currently under construction.
Our team tries to bridge the gap between our software engineering and UX design teams creating these platforms on the one side and the product teams creating marketing campaigns for our franchises on the other. Together we create campaign and engagement content for our Digital Ecosystem that ties together all digital LEGO experiences in meaningful ways, creating deeper consumer engagement and improved consumer life-time value.
Do you have what it takes?
- It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker.
- Student at Bachelor or Master level.
- Degrees in the fields of Digital Design, Communication, Marketing, Cultural Studies and Languages will be beneficial.
- Has an interest in The LEGO Group, digital platforms, the latest digital trends and content management.
- Wants to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Has strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to challenges.
- Eager to learn and be part of a global team.
- An ambitious self-starter who will take initiative.
- Has experience in communication or digital design (this is a plus, though not mandatory).
- English at fluent level is required as this is the standard office language. Other languages are a positive plus.
- Thrives and contributes in a team setting.
- Previous experience working with content management systems (CMS) or on social media, gaming or other online platforms – both professionally or in their spare time.
