Finance Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a very impressive well established medical device company.

Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Germany. The position is a Finance Manager and is a permanent position.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be an asset to the Purchasing team. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audits
• Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic planning and growth
• Oversee cash flow, investments, and risk management activities
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Accountant, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel (experience with [insert software] is a plus)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) or a recognised European equivalent preferred
• Meticulous, organised, and solutions-focused
