Job Role: IT Network Specialist

Salary: Up to €52k (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Munich – On-Site Working

We are looking to hire an IT Network Specialist to join one of Germany’s leading VR Development Studios. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring network stability, reliability, and security, and optimising performance for high-bandwidth XR applications. You'll troubleshoot complex network issues, manage on-premises infrastructure, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay ahead of the curve with emerging networking technologies. You’ll also work closely with our IT Security Specialist to develop and enforce robust network security protocols.

Skills you should hold (with over 4 years' experience):

• C1 Level English and German language skills
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and network security practices
• Experience with LAN/WAN infrastructures, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Familiarity with virtualised networking technologies
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience managing on-premises infrastructure and developing disaster recovery plans
• First experience with Microsoft 365 administration is a plus
