Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics) - Stuttgart area, Germany - Up to €100,000 Bonus (d / m / w)
Based in the Engineering capital of South West Germany, my international client is offering an unparalleled Hardware Engineering role, with a focus on Manufacturing/Process Engineering.
At the core of the sprawling Engineering sector, this technology giant develops world-leading embedded software systems, project management, and solutions for the transportation, telecommunications, and automotive industry. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Hardware Engineer to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.
Responsibilities
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Manage KPIs, manufacturing, and costs throughout product development while ensuring efficient, scalable processes.
- Establish DFM standards, define and qualify manufacturing processes, and oversee supply chain readiness.
- Develop test strategies, implement documented procedures, and align processes for seamless transfer to full-scale production.
Current Product Engineering (CPE)
- Oversee KPIs, costs, and manufacturing for existing products while driving process optimization and quality improvements.
- Conduct RCA, implement corrective actions, and qualify hardware changes across the supply chain.
- Monitor manufacturing metrics, address deviations, and provide ongoing technical support.
Project Management
- Manage product alerts, escalations, and SoC-related issues, implementing cross-functional changes as needed.
- Conduct RCA for production and field issues to drive improvements.
Additional Focus Areas
- Data Analysis: Develop reporting systems, analyze KPIs, and optimize data-driven decision-making.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Education: BSc/MSc in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Product Development & Enhancement: Test methodology, electrical engineering (schematics), test guidelines and strategies, manufacturability, troubleshooting, and support.
- Manufacturer & Supplier Management: Field issue management, debugging, and supplier coordination.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Quality management, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Data & Tools: Data collection, analysis, visualization, reporting, AI integration, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Methods & Processes: Product lifecycle management, product change management, and process optimization.
