Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) for Marine & Navy worldwide

RENK, a globally leading provider of innovative drive solutions, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) in the Marine & Navy sector at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will independently provide on-site customer services worldwide, mainly on Marine and Navy vessels, and will be responsible for the professional and timely execution of service assignments. You also help to generate sales for the company and especially for the service department.

Tasks

• Independent execution of gearbox inspections, maintenance, installation and commissioning as well as repair work and complete revisions and upgrades on marine gear systems worldwide
• Troubleshooting and damage analysis on the construction site/shipyard/on board/offshore
• Provide recommendations for replacement parts and general instructions to customers
• Technical preparation and follow-up of service calls
• Write site reports, measurement and alignment protocols as well as time and expense reports in English
• Sporadic assignments in assembly works at RENK
  
  

Your Profile

• Successfully completed education as an industrial mechanic or a comparable technical education, further training as a master craftsman or technician is desirable
• Very good knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as well as PLC (S7)
• Willingness to travel worldwide (approximately 80% / 180 working days)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Independent and self-reliant work ethic as well as high level of service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction with good communication skills in general
• Fluent in English language both written and spoken
