Solar/ BESS Sales Manager - C&I/ Utility Scale B2B


We are supporting a fast-growing renewable energy company driving the energy transition across Europe. Specializing in solar PV and cutting-edge battery storage solutions. They deliver innovative, scalable, and sustainable energy systems for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) clients and utility-scale grid-connected projects.


After 5 years of continued success in the renewable energy space, they are now looking to grow their sales team across C&I and Utility scale projects.


Your Role


As our new Sales Manager - Solar & BESS, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our footprint in the German market. You’ll be responsible for both hunting new business and nurturing key relationships across the C&I and Utility/ Grid-scale sectors. If you're a dynamic, self-starting sales professional with deep industry knowledge and a passion for clean energy – we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, pursue, and close new B2B sales opportunities within C&I and Utility/Grid-scale markets.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of solar and BESS projects.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term client relationships with developers, EPCs, asset managers, and energy buyers.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, project, and finance teams to tailor proposals and close deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.


What You Bring:


  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in renewable energy (solar, BESS, or related sector).
  • Strong network within the German C&I and utility-scale energy sector.
  • Hunter mentality with a proven track record of closing mid-to-large-scale deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
