Pharmacy Technician

On behalf of our client, we are now hiring for a Pharmacy Technician to join their team based just outside of Athlone. The role is permanent and requires you to work 4 days a week. Working hours are 9am to 7pm and includes alternate Saturday rota. No Sundays, late nights or Bank Holiday hours will be required. The system used is MPS

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on their medication and deal with customer medication queries
• Assist in the dispensary
• Manage dispensary stock
• Selling products based on good product knowledge
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist at the OTC counter as and when required
• Assist with stock management.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of pharmacy products
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Diligent
• Previous experience in the role would be beneficial. However, will also consider candidates with pharmacy background with view and opportunity to become a qualified Technicians.
