Salary: €35-40k

Location: Kildare

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day bar operations, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and welcoming environment.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of bartenders and bar staff, fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Develop and update beverage menus, including signature cocktails and local offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control and wastage.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety, ensuring compliance with licensing laws.
• Build strong relationships with guests, handling complaints and feedback effectively.
• Drive sales through promotions, events, and upselling strategies.
• Manage budgets and track financial performance, reporting on KPIs to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth service and special functions.

Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior bar supervisory role, ideally within a hotel or high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktails, including trends and mixology.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain professionalism.
• Understanding of stock management, ordering systems, and basic financial reporting.
• Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
