Overview:
Dillon Engineering Services is hiring a Fire Suppression System Engineer. This is a long-term 4-year contract based onsite in Dublin, working on critical fire suppression and life safety systems for road tunnels.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and procurement of Fixed Fire Suppression Systems (Low/High/Deluge).
• Develop Fire Life Safety and Ventilation Strategies for road tunnels to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Conduct 1D and 3D CFD modeling for fire and smoke control in tunnels, underground spaces, and buildings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and stakeholders to integrate fire safety systems into infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with national and international fire safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Proven experience in the design and procurement of Fixed Fire Suppression Systems.
• Expertise in Fire Life Safety and Ventilation Strategies for road tunnels.
• Strong knowledge of 1D and 3D CFD modeling for fire and smoke control.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
