About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Supervisor to join a large-scale resort expansion project in Longford. This role will involve overseeing the installation of air-to-water systems for new facilities, as well as supporting additional projects across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installations, particularly plumbing and piping systems in both industrial and residential settings.
• Lead the installation of air-to-water systems as part of the resort expansion.
• Work closely with contractors, site managers, and project teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams on mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Support additional mechanical projects across the Midlands as required.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in plumbing and piping, ideally having progressed through a plumbing apprenticeship.
• Experience in both industrial and residential mechanical installations.
• Knowledge of air-to-water heating systems and related technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across sites as needed.
