Oibríonn agus forbraíonn EirGrid Group an córas leictreachais in Éirinn. Is é an t-athrú aeráide agus aistriú na hearnála leictreachais chuig fuinneamh ísealcharbóin in-athnuaite a mhúnlaíonn ár straitéis. Tá ról uathúil le himirt againn maidir leis an gclaochlú radacach atá ag teastáil a threorú. Déanann ár straitéis achoimre ar ár bhfreagairt ar na dúshláin sin. Is éard atá ann sraith príomhspriocanna, a bhfuil ár gcuspóir chun an córas cumhachta a athrú do na glúine atá le teacht mar bhonn taca leo.
Tá an Oifig Airgeadais freagrach as soláthar eolais thráthúil agus léargasaigh airgeadais don Bhord, don Fheidhmeannas agus don Bhainistíocht. Tá sí freagrach chomh maith as forbairt leanúnach nósanna imeachta rialála agus chóras eolais airgeadais inmheánach an chomhlachta chun riachtanais rialála agus reachtúla a chomhlíonadh. Tá cur chuige tábhachtach páirtnéireachta gnó ag an Rannóg Airgeadais trasna na Stiúrthóireachtaí Feidhmeannacha ar fad sa Ghrúpa chun tacú le seachadadh chuspóirí straitéiseacha EirGrid agus iad a chumasú

Ag tuairisciú don Cheann Tuairiscithe Airgeadais, tá an Páirtí Gnó Airgeadais freagrach as anailís airgeadais dhomhain, comhpháirtíocht ghnó agus tá ról lárnach aige/aici i bpróisis réamhaisnéisithe agus bhuiséadaithe Ghrúpa EirGrid. Go háirithe, beidh an t-iarrthóir freagrach as tacaíocht laethúil a thabhairt don ghnó, athbhreithniú a dhéanamh ar chaiteachas suntasach, anailís mhíosúil a dhéanamh ar chostais oibriúcháin, an próiseas pleanála airgeadais a chur i gcrích agus tráchtaireacht agus léargais luachmhara a sholáthar don ghnó.
Príomhfhreagrachtaí
Ceannaireacht a dhéanamh ar athbhreithniú agus ar chur i láthair na dtorthaí airgeadais míosúla don Fhoireann Bhainistíochta;
Comhordú a dhéanamh leis an bhfoireann bhainistíochta ar anailís mhíosúil ar Phríomhtháscairí Feidhmíochta agus ar athraitheas, ag soláthar aiseolais agus léargais nuair is iomchuí;
Monatóireacht a dhéanamh ar chaiteachas i gcoinne na liúntas Rialála éagsúil;
Samhlacha airgeadais a chruthú agus a chothabháil a éascaíonn méideanna móra sonraí ar féidir iad a ionramháil chun faisnéis a chur i láthair éagsúlacht de lucht féachana;
Tacú leis an bhfoireann Feidhmiúcháin in athbhreithnithe feidhmíochta airgeadais ráithiúla le foireann na Ceannaireachta Sinsearaí;
Ceannaireacht a dhéanamh ar an gcleachtadh bliantúil Pleanála Gnó do Stiúrthóireacht an Chlaochlaithe & na Teicneolaíochta
Páirt a ghlacadh sna próisis iniúchóireachta inmheánacha agus sheachtracha;
Caidrimh oibre chomhoibríocha mhaithe a choinneáil le Ceannairí Feidhme ar fud an ghrúpa, ag cinntiú go bhfuil sreabhadh cumarsáide ann chun cinntí gnó den scoth a spreagadh;
Meantóireacht a dhéanamh ar bhaill níos sóisearaí den fhoireann airgeadais agus oiliúint a chur orthu;
Saineolas, Scileanna agus Taithí
Cuntasóir Cáilithe (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) le 1-2 bhliain ar a laghad de thaithí fostaíochta iar-cháilíochta.

Finance Business Partner

The Finance Office is responsible for the provision of timely and insightful financial information to the Board, Executive and Management. It also has responsibility for the ongoing development of the company’s internal control procedures and financial information system to fulfil regulatory and statutory requirements. The Finance Department provides a key business partnering approach across all of the Executive Directorates the Group to support and enable delivery of EirGrid’s strategic objectives.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for in-depth financial analysis, business partnering and has a key role in the forecasting and budgeting processes for EirGrid Group. In particular, the candidate will be responsible for day to day support for the business, reviewing significant spend, monthly analysis of operating expenses, the financial planning process and provision of valuable commentary and insights for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review and presentation of monthly financial results to the Management Team;
Co-ordinating partner with the management team on monthly KPI & variance analysis, providing feedback and insights where appropriate;
Monitoring spend against the various Regulatory allowances;
Create and maintain financial models that facilitate large volumes of data that can be manipulated to present information to different audiences;
Support the Executive team in Quarterly Financial performance reviews with the Senior Leadership team;
Lead the annual Business Planning exercise for Transformation & Technology Directorate
Participate in the internal and external audit processes;
Maintain good collaborative working relationships with Heads of Function across the group, ensuring a flow of communication to drive excellent business decisions;
Training and mentoring of more junior members of the finance team;
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 1-2 years post qualification experience.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and word is essential
High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Extensive decision-making experience and an ability to prioritise conflicting deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, passionate and willing to challenge the status quo in the interests of delivering change
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
