Position: Production & Supply Chain Administrator
Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid role based at our Production facility in Monaghan Town, Co. Monaghan.
We are seeking a Production & Supply Chain Administrator to join our dynamic and fast-paced Global Procurement Team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager EMEA, and working under the guidance of the Senior Production & Supply Chain Administrator, this role provides essential support to Procurement Specialists and various business functions, including design and engineering, production, S&OP, and logistics. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders and liaise with suppliers.
As part of a rapidly growing company in the Critical Power & Energy Management industry, you must be adept at managing shifting priorities and multitasking efficiently. A proactive, conscientious, and professional attitude is essential for this role.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Create Bills of Material in SAP (BOM’s).
- Maintain and amend Bills of Material in SAP.
- Create and maintain Master data in SAP.
- Run the MRP Process for production and procurement in-line with the S&OP plan.
- Create Production orders in conjunction with the relevant internal stakeholders.
- Maintain Production orders in SAP and ensure that any Bill of Material changes have been accurately captured.
- Ensure 100% traceability of all relevant licences and serial numbers in line with the established procedure.
- Liaise daily with Production and Stores managers, along with Procurement specialiststo generate and amend weekly production schedules.
- Manage receipts from production in SAP.
- Raise, deliver and manage Purchase Orders with suppliers as required.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of SAP data.
- Generate and maintain production metrics and reports as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate waste as agreed with your manager.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage forecasted production demand.
- Implement and communicate to relevant parties and suppliers any changes to production plans following MRP regeneration.
- Work very closely with the Procurement Specialist providing assistance and cover as necessary including:
- Issue Purchase Orders to Suppliers if required.
- Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery as necessary
- Support the monitoring of stock levels and help the procurement specialist with identifying purchasing needs.
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts) as necessary.
- Liaise with warehouse staff and follow up on delivery queries.
- General administrative duties including other general administrative duties as arise from time to time.
Experience
- Previous experience in Production, Procurement, Planning, New Product Introduction or Supply Chain role is desirable.
- Good understanding of supply chain principles and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- SAP experience desirable but training will be provided.
