Driver - Logistics

The Driver role involves delivering products to customer sites within the Island of Ireland, transporting goods between different locations as needed, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations during deliveries. The driver must work efficiently to meet deadlines set by the Logistics Manager, coordinate with the logistics department to optimize delivery processes and reduce the carbon footprint.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Delivering to customer sites within the Island of Ireland.
• Delivering product between HE sites ie. Stamullen/Dundalk/Kingscourt/Monaghan as required.
• Ensuring adherence to all safety requirements when delivering to sites.
• Working to meet deadlines as set out by the Logistics Manager/department.
• Co-ordinating with logistics department on all deliveries to ensure optimum use and reduce carbon footprint where possible.
• Ensuring signed POD received for all goods delivered and providing same to Logistics Department.
• Ability to load and off load using tail lift securely.
• To ensure compliance with all current Rules of the Road.
• To undertake general operative duties at (TBC) in downtime.

Candidate Requirements

• 3 Years of driving experience.
• Must hold valid Irish Driving Licence (C class).
• Must hold valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• ADR License will be required.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal across cultures).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €35,000.00-€38,000.00 per month
