Loughnanes Joinery is a family-owned joinery business based in Athenry, Co. Galway. With a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and a growing portfolio of projects, we are currently seeking General Operatives to join our team.

The Role
As a General Operative, you will be involved in various stages of the joinery production process. Full training will be provided, and individuals who show a strong work ethic and ambition will have opportunities to develop their skills and progress within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Machining timber using appropriate tools and equipment
• Assembly of door frames and related joinery components
• Sanding of timber surfaces in preparation for finishing
• Assisting with packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
• General workshop support and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
• Following all health and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English (required)
• Must be authorised to work in Ireland
• Reliable commute to or willingness to relocate to Athenry, Co. Galway

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent role
• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
