Senior Process Engineer

Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer for our manufacturing client based in the Tipperary area.

This is a permanent role.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Identify & implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Leading production trials & process modifications to develop new and improved products.
• Coaching & mentoring junior engineers and operational teams to boost technical expertise.
• Driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
• Supporting maintenance teams and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Managing and delivering large-scale projects and capital investments.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification.
• 3 years of experience in a process or project environment.
• Hands-on experience in a Heavy Industrial Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of heavy machinery & heavy manufacturing processes: (steam systems, heavy rotating machinery, & utilities).
• Key skills: Problem-solving, analytical & driven by continuous improvement.
