Leak Detection Engineers (Cavan)

McBreen Environmental Drain Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Leak Detection Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This role involves working with a range of services from leak detection to Legionella testing and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will:
Communicate effectively with clients, including explaining technical aspects such as Legionella testing.
Undertake all aspects of Leak Detection in Domestic and Commercial settings using gas tracing and audio ground microphones
Conduct pressure testing, water audits, hydrant testing, dry riser testing, and tank/reservoir cleaning and rehabilitation.
Document work details accurately using Geopal software.
Prepare reports using Microsoft Word and Excel for submission to the office.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills whilst conforming to company and client policies and procedures
Have a clear understanding of Health and Safety practices and show the lead when working as part of a team.

Desirable Not Essential

Plumbing or Civil experience
Previous experience within leak detection or similar utility based industry will be highly regarded
Knowledge of Leak Detection Methodologies
Ability to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions to clients.
Attention to detail, especially in documenting work and preparing reports..
Safe Pass, Manual Handing and Confined Space
Good IT and reporting skills - Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is advantageous.
