Job Posting for Medical Administrator at Morgan McKinley Health
The Central Appointments Administrator will perform a variety of clerical tasks, answer phones & respond to emails with queries while updating patient files accordingly.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow recommended health record practices to ensure correct healthcare record management as per NHO Code of practice for healthcare records.
Inbound call handling on all referral enquiries.
Register and manage patient referrals through to completion.
Liaise with Consultant re referral triage and waiting list/appointment issuing.
Validate outpatient waiting lists.
Scheduling/rescheduling and organizing office administration.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
Previous medical clerical administration experience is desirable but not essential
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent Microsoft office skills.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written communication skills
Can work unsupervised and on own initiative
Flexible and adaptive
