HVAC Engineer

My client, a leading provider of refrigeration and climate control solutions, is seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join their team in Cork.

Position Overview:
As a HVAC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering exceptional service to clients.

The HVAC Engineer will work both independently and as part of a team to uphold safety standards, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to the overall success of the business.

This role offers a mix of technical challenges and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment, with a competitive salary of €55,000 to €65,000 per year. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential on-call responsibilities during weekends.

This is a permanent role, which will involve working for my client directly on a permanent basis, this is not an agency or short term role. I am assisting my client in finding suitable candidates to work for them directly.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair
• FGAS certification is required
• Full, clean driving license is essential
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Prompt diagnosis and resolution of technical issues
• Execution of scheduled preventive maintenance to optimize system performance
• Accurate record-keeping of services and repairs
• Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Delivery of exceptional customer service while maintaining client relationships
