Service Coordinator

THE ROLE

Are you experienced in coordinating service operations and have a strong understanding of mechanical parts and processes? Have you worked in an auto parts shop, a breakdown assistance office, or a similar role where mechanical knowledge is essential? If so, we want to hear from you!

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• At least 1 years’ experience in an administrative role.
• Background or strong understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., engines, machinery, or workshop operations).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, suppliers, and customers.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysing service reports, inputting data, and preparing conclusion reports.
• Coordinating customer requests and ensuring their expectations are met.
• Reviewing technician reports and compiling quotations.
• Scheduling jobs for on-site technicians and staying ahead of deadlines.
• Managing calls from technicians and customers to ensure smooth communication.
• Ordering parts and managing inventory efficiently.
• Handling additional administrative tasks as needed to keep the team running smoothly.
