Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Intern to join our Shared Services team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compensation management, supporting key initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of our Total Rewards programs. The intern will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of compensation data and job descriptions while contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description Review and Updates:
- Review and update job descriptions to ensure they are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with current compensation schemes.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistency and alignment across all job descriptions.
Compensation Data Management:
- Perform data audits and quality checks to ensure the integrity of compensation data from multiple HR and compensation systems.
- Review and validate summary plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with current compensation structures.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in analyzing compensation data and preparing detailed reports for leadership.
- Identify trends and insights to support the development of effective compensation strategies.
Process Improvement:
- Provide support in process improvements and documentation related to compensation activities.
- Assist in streamlining operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with HRIS or compensation systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
