Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant to support our Mineral Buyer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the evaluation, acquisition, and management of mineral rights. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Administrative Support:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Mineral Buyer.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate daily tasks.
- Prepare and organize documents, reports, offers, and operator correspondence.
2.Research and Analysis:
- Research mineral rights and assist with finding contact information for mineral owners.
- Research county records for mineral owner information.
- Compile and analyze data to support decision-making processes.
3.Client Relations:
- Serve as an appointment setter for calls with our mineral buyer.
- Assist in maintaining client relationships with timely responses.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to clients as needed.
4.Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Organize and manage electronic and physical files.
5.Support in contract review:
- Assist the Mineral Buyer in preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
6.Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration,
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
