Event Sales Coordinator
The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for sales and planning of all assigned social/corporate/wedding events with Village Hospitality Group. This role will evolve as business matures and will include sales, planning, operations, and team development.
Primary Responsibilities:
Event Sales
- Assist in creation of all systems as related to event sales (i.e Lead management, Sales process, Weekly reporting, Event pricing and offerings, Revenue analysis)
- Establish relationships with existing clients and develop marketing program for attracting new business
- Field event inquiries and manage sales process from inquiry and tour to follow up and booking
- Maintain targeted conversion rate and revenue goals for consistent growth of the corporate program
- Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
- Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.
- Implement continuous improvements to corporate program and addition of new revenue streams
- Attend local and regional tradeshows and community events
- Establish and strengthen relationships with industry vendors
Service Direction
- Plan service strategies for different function types/sizes
- Develop and maintain our steps of service
- Create and promote a culture of excellent customer service
- Alcohol inventory management and bar service
- Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes
Team Development
- Coach and empower team members to develop solutions independently without relying on you to make all the decisions
- Create a collaborative environment where ideas are nurtured and developed
- Develop and implement ongoing training programs with the FOH Manager
Production Management
- Develop and refine production workflow/process
- Event operations planning; coordinating logistics for events
- Facilitate weekly Production Meetings, integrating all necessary departments
Event Execution
- Oversee Event Management and work events as an Event Manager when needed
- Facilitate problem-solving and post-mortem process for event improvement
Customer Service
- Resolve customer complaints
- Emergency support
- Oversee field troubleshooting for Events

- Ability to use software to author and organize procedures, communicate and share documents, and create tools for the team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,367.32 - $60,000.00 per year
